Endodontic treatment

The treatment is necessarily applied when the pulp in the center of the tooth becomes infected due to caries that has penetrated the enamel and dentin. Infection can also occur due to a fracture or crack in the tooth that allows germs to enter.
But what is pulp? It is a cavity of soft tissue in the center of the tooth that contains nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. When the pulp becomes infected, we should remove it and at the same time clean and disinfect the cavity as well as the root canals. Without prompt treatment, the infection will become generalized, spread to the tissues around the roots, and the tooth will have to be extracted to prevent further damage.
Symptoms that warn us that we may need endodontic treatment are the following:
- Sharp pain when chewing or putting pressure on the tooth
- Prolonged sensitivity to hot and cold accompanied by pain
- Swelling and tenderness of the gums
- The tooth darkens as the pulp dies
Before starting the procedure, an x-ray check is required to determine the morphology of the tooth roots and to see if there are traces of infection of the surrounding bone. Endodontic treatment is naturally performed with local anesthesia and is painless. First we create access to the inside of the tooth, remove the pulp and disinfect the root canals. When the root canals have been completely cleaned, we plug them with a special elastic material (gutta-percha). At the end of the procedure, we seal the tooth permanently and depending on the extent of the damage, we may use a crown or even a shaft to strengthen and protect it.
There are other types of mesotherapy such as whitening mesotherapy, tightening mesotherapy. In any case, the injected materials do not give volume, so the face does not fill out.
The mesotherapy sessions can be done whenever the person himself considers that he needs them. As a general guide it is to generally do 3 mesotherapy treatments with an interval of one month between each other and then repeat at thinner intervals of around 3-4 months. But this is not certain. This type of facial care can be done with any frequency and any number of times one wants.
This process also has the concept of prevention. This is because the multiple injections as well as the material they contain causes a stimulation in the skin and causes it to produce its own collagen, which slows down aging.
