Pediatric dentistry
Paedodontics is the branch of Dentistry that deals with monitoring the health and dealing with problems of the oral cavity of children and adolescents.
Children’s teeth (baby teeth) show several differences from adult teeth. In addition, the oral cavity of children is constantly changing, as the child grows and the baby teeth fall out giving way to the permanent ones. The most important of all, however, is that the child himself is constantly passing through a different stage of development and abilities, perception of the world around him and awareness of himself.
For the above reasons, it is important that the dentist or pediatric dentist, who deals with the monitoring of the child’s oral health, is aware and informed about these issues, so that he can, above all, adapt his communication with the child to the level perception of the small patient, but also to apply the most modern and scientifically proven techniques in dealing with the problems of the oral cavity.
In our practice, we monitor the oral health of children aged 3.5 years and older. We pay particular attention to both prevention and the acquisition of correct oral hygiene and nutrition habits.

That’s why we take care of:
- Teaching children how to brush properly,
- Providing appropriate instructions to parents so that they can supervise their children during tooth brushing,
- Providing advice on proper nutrition
We undertake:
- The inclusion of the child in a preventive teeth monitoring program with regular fluoridation and hole-cleft coverage in the first permanent teeth (preventive fillings),
- The treatment of dental caries in young and permanent teeth with fillings,
- The treatment of dental injuries,
- Orthodontic monitoring in collaboration with the dentist responsible for orthodontic care.
